Installing a graphics card is also very easy. The first step is to locate the PCI-Express slot. This slot will be slightly off to the right compared to a PCI slot. Compare your graphics card connector and the slot on the motherboard to ensure you are looking at the right one. On the back of the case unscrew the metal slot protector. This needs to be removed so the connectors on the back of the graphics card can be accessible when you hook up your monitors. Now hold the card carefully and align its connector pins with the PCI-Express slot. Mind the notch and push the card in. Check that the PCI-Express safety is locked. In case that you want to remove the card just pull the safety and pick up the card.
Secure the video card to the PC case. Just tighten the screw. Connect any power cables that are required. Mainstream and low models may not require extra power as they get enough from PCI-Express x16 slot. There are also cards that may require more than one extra power feeds. If your PSU doesn’t have a suitable connector for your video card then you can also use a Molex to PCI-Express adapter.
