There is tons of software that will become useful in your new computer. How you acquire them is up to you I do suggest you purchase them legally but whatever means you get it is solely to your discretion.

Applications

Applications are programs design to accomplish a task. You are probably very familiar with this. An example would be Microsoft Office’s Word application. It’s sole task is word processing. Internet explorer is use for browsing the internet. It is important that you also remember, if you do not own any copy of an operating system, such as Windows 7, you will need to get one!

The Essentials:

1. Miscrosoft Office or Open Office (free).
2. Mozilla Firefox (Far Superior Browser for free)
3. Microsoft Windows 7
4. Norton Anti-Virus (for viruses) or AVG(free)
5. Spyware Doctor (for spyware)
